The Property
Buried Treasures is located on a large, beautiful wooded campus with lake, walking trail, small garden plots, cottages for the ladies, a large common meeting room for classes and meals with a porch for relaxing overlooking the lake, a lakeside fire pit for small group gathering, and a large covered pavilion for larger outdoor gatherings. There is a distinct peace every time one comes on the campus – everyone comments on what a blessing it is just to be there.
Each resident lives either alone or with one roommate, in a cottage where each lady has their own private bed, bath and closet.
The ladies share a laundry facility for washing clothes/linens.
The ladies are helped with obtaining necessary clothes, toiletries, etc., all meals are provided with the ladies involved in the cooking, their medical and dental needs are addressed, and they receive professional Christian counseling both individually and as a group.
Buried Treasures Home is intentionally kept to a limited number of residents so we can give more personal and appropriate attention to each lady, to increase their chances of success in the free world when they graduate from here.
